About Char – Twisted Moon Piercing​

Hi, I’m Char, and Twisted Moon Piercing is the realisation of my lifelong passion for body modification and beautiful body jewellery. After years in a corporate role—and a challenging pandemic—I decided to follow my dream of becoming self-employed and doing what I truly love.

I believe body piercing is an art form that should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or budget. My philosophy is simple:
Good piercings aren’t cheap, and cheap piercings aren’t good. I strive to offer exceptional value while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Professional Standards & Expertise

I regularly attend industry events and seminars to stay up to date with the latest techniques and best practices. I hold certifications in Bloodborne Pathogens and Level 3 First Aid, and I’m working towards UKAPP membership, meeting all requirements as we settle into our new home.

In my short time in the industry, I’ve been honoured to design a piece of jewellery for Junipurr Body Jewellery called Ratley.

A Little About Me

Outside of work, I’m a huge animal lover with three cats, three snakes, and a passion for breeding and showing pet rats (check out Galactic Stud on Facebook for rat content!). I also enjoy jigsaws and knitting in my downtime.
